Auspicious Feng Shui Colors to Use Today

No matter what you might think of Feng Shui, there are certain colors that you know make you feel better than others. For example, you might have a red shirt that makes you feel like you could take on the world each time you wear it. You are attracting good energy when you wear that shirt and the more you believe you are, the more you will attract. In Feng Shui, the same idea applies.

There are certain colors which have been shown time and time again to not only attract positive energy, but also to produce positive results. If you just want to add more money to your bank account or improve communication in your relationships Feng Shui color will help you do it.

Color for Luck

If you’re in need of some good luck, many people who practice Feng Shui will add red to their lives and to their offices. This color is bright, bold, and inviting. It adds warmth to any situation and it allows you to pull in all of the luck you need for a job interview, relationship, or any other situation where you might need help. If you find that bright reds are too much, you might want to use muted reds as they will work as well, but they might be more appealing to you personally.

We have all experienced someone walking by wearing red that attracts our attention. This is because the color red has the highest/largest electromagnetic field. The color literally reaches out and touches you and grabs your attention.

Color for Growth

While this may not come as a surprise to you, green is a color that’s used quite often in Feng Shui for growth. If you want your career to takeoff or you want something in your life to become bigger, then you will want to use green in your surroundings. Think about adding plants to your space or wearing green. And of course, green is associated with money, so that makes sense to use it more often when you need a larger bank account balance.

Color for Positive Energy

Many people feel that yellow is too cheery of a color for them, but Feng Shui associates it with royalty. You can use yellow to add positive power to your home or to your office. This will help you to begin to see the brighter side of things, which may be all you need to break out of a funk.

Colors can change the way you feel while also changing the way your life moves. With these Feng Shui tips, you can begin to see your world become more colorful and more prosperous.

Color for Communication

The color blue is great for improving communication whether you paint in on your walls for wear a blue suit. Any shade of blue works, besides it is the color that is most favored by the majority of people. In Business use it in the conference room to aid your negotiations. At home use it in the bedroom to enhance all types of communication.

Feng Shui Bathroom Balance

 Creating Balance in Your Life

In every home, there is a room that is the oasis, the place where you can get away from it all. For most people, this room is the bathroom as it’s the only room in which you are completely alone. You might soak in the tub or you might decide to paint your toes or color your hair. In any case, the way you decorate your bathroom will determine the energetic feel of this room. By following some basic Feng Shui principles, you can begin to make this room even more appealing for your senses.

Regulating the Flow of Water

The bathroom naturally has a lot of water energy flowing in and through it. As a result, the energy can be quite volatile if there is nothing to ground the water. However, many people believe that adding water scenes and colors to their bathroom improves the energy – not according to Feng Shui. What you will want to do is to keep some water energy (the sink, toilet, and bath tub are generally plenty) in place, but then you need to find ways to add other energies like earth and metal to the room. This way, you create balance, which is how you want to feel when you leave the bathroom.

The Colors of the Earth

Ideally, you will want to add earth tones to your bathroom. Think about adding colors like rusty orange or a muted brown. These colors will not only add earth to the bathroom, but they will also begin to make the room feel warmer, more inviting. You might also want to look into muted reds and greens to help with the Feng Shui energy of grounding and earth.

Some believe that white can be a good color for the bathroom, but only when used sparingly. While white is clean and soothing for some, it can be harshly sterile to others. Think about what feels good to you and follow the Feng Shui advice that seems to fit your style and energy.

Feng Shui and the Color Purple

While there are a number of colors which can be used to energize your home and your life, in Feng Shui, one of the most powerful colors is purple. Effective for drawing in a number of different energies, purple is a color that not only helps you gain recognition, but also money and wisdom. Here are some of the ways you can use color in your own home and life.

Attract Recognition

Purple will help you to attract the energy of recognition, which may be necessary in personal or in business endeavors. Find the fame area of your room or your home in order to focus your purple efforts there. By adding just an item or two that is purpose, you can begin to draw in the energy that makes people turn around to look at you whenever you are in a room. This is especially helpful too when you have completed something you desire recognition for – i.e. a new project, the completion of a book, etc.

Bring Money Luck

Since there never seems to be enough money, you can also use purpose to help you with this part of your life. With a few purples images in the money area and walls of your home, you will begin to see money come into your life more easily while also noticing that the money you have seems to go further than it had before. This is an especially important color to add to your office when you want to attract a raise or more perks to your current benefits and salary package.

Enhance Wisdom

Take a purple crystal and place it anywhere in your home to enhance your wisdom and your perception. You might want to take a purple crystal and hang it near a source of light (preferably a window) to sparkle the purple color throughout your home. In addition, you will want to make sure you are using this color when you are meditating or when you are thinking about something that is baffling to you. This color will attract the wisdom to know what to do.

No matter what your concern might be at the time, using Feng Shui as well as the color purple in your life is a great way to draw in the energy you need when you need it.

Good Luck,

Feng Shui Finance Advice

The kitchen is the place in your home where you are nourished, literally and figuratively. If you’ve ever invited people over to your home, you might have noticed they gravitate toward the kitchen first, often to chat and to taste the food before a meal begins. This room, according to Feng Shui, is considered to be the heart of the home. As such, it makes sense to spend time making sure the room is as energy conscious as possible.

It is also the main place in your home where your money is created so giving it your undivided attention is crucial for building your feng shui finances. You can clean up with this feng shui tips!

Keep the Stove Clean

According to Feng Shui, the stove is connected with the income and the financial health of a family. This is where the mana or life force is generated. In order to ensure your finances will be healthy, make sure the stove is clean and clear at all times. You don’t want to be creating dirty money. You might want to wash or wipe down the stove every morning and night to ensure things are clean and able to attract positive energy. In addition, you will want to remove any pots or pans which are sitting on the stove and that aren’t being used. This way, the stove can be ready to accept any energy which flows in the room and direct it to your bank account.

You can also use the cook top to create your own faith soup. Place a pot on the stove an put in it all of the ingredients for what you desire in life. Write each of your goals on a piece of paper and put it in the pot and stir daily or each time you come into the kitchen.

Using Mirrors in the Kitchen

To double your money, according to Feng Shui, you will want to double the number of burners you have on your stove. Add a mirrors to the backside of your stove (above the range) so you can see more than the typical four burners you have. This will help to attract more money energy to the space while also help to deflect excessive energy from the stove.

Keep the Energy Flowing

To make sure chi energy is able to move in and out of the kitchen, make sure you are keeping the kitchen clean at all times. You will also want to make sure the floor is free of obstacles and that the room is easy to move in and out of. If there are any obstructions in the way, take some time to move them and to find a better place for them to rest.

Your kitchen is where you make the food that fuels you and the ones you love. By taking some Feng Shui advice, you can begin to change the way energy moves in this room and allow others to enjoy good luck and happiness.

Good luck,
